Good Evening Swarm Moms!

We are big readers here at Swarm and recommend all moms pick up the habit of reading.  There are so many benefits to reading.  Increasing your knowledge is one very important benefit, but we here at Swarm believe that reading reduces stress.  If you have ever read a book that is so good you didn't want to put it down, then you can most likely recall the euphoric state of mind that takes over.  A good book is like a mini vacation.  Some people get that same feeling from yoga, exercise and meditation.  But if you are at work or parked in the car waiting to pick up your kids, think about bringing a book along.

The are some good website for readers. One that comes to mind is Goodreads.com.  This is one site that will recommend books for you based on your choices.  If you gravitate toward one genre then you may appreciate having the site offer up more choices.

Swarm has found that no matter how difficult the book may be to finish, perhaps it is very boring or dry, try to work through and finish it.  Swarm has found that there is ALWAYS a gem to be found!

Goodnite.

Tax time Swarm Moms!

You should be ready since you have spent the last few weeks gathering, organizing and filing paperwork from all the nooks and crannies.

Did you know that there are many agencies set up to help individuals file their returns?  Yes, it's true!  In fact, you can call or visit your library (or their website) to get a list of agencies that can help you file.  In some cases, there is a cap on how much you make, in order to qualify for help, but not in all!

Why get help?
Because many, many US Citizens lose money on their income taxes because they were prepared incorrectly and/or because opportunities for tax breaks were ignored, (mostly out of ignorance).  Having a professional prepare your taxes can help eliminate that problem.

Having a professional prep your income taxes can also help remove some of the stress of tax time.

So get moving ladies.  The early bird gets the worm (or a convenient appointment time!).

Don't procrastinate. Get going and get it done!
